I just returned from a 3 week vacation in New York and saw Dave Carlin (former KGMB weekend anchor) reporting in Brooklyn on the recent New York Heat Wave for the local CBS affiliate. It took me awhile to put the pieces together; I forgot he left Hawai'i.

Depends how far back you wanna go, but there's Susan Hutchison, Melanie Granfors, Emerald Yeh, Stacy Sakamoto...etc., etc., etc.

Three of these ended up in the Seattle area as well - Susan, Melanie & Stacy. Stacy's still in the biz, as a part-time reporter with KIRO-TV.

You guys are killing me, White House Press Sec? Yeah right.

I'll say this much, writing press releases for a Senate campaign is WAY more hectic than anything I experienced in either TV or print news. It's crazy.
