    That was my guess too.
But speaking of eyes... Why does the color of Ben's spooky eyes change? Usually they're an incredibly bright blue, but occasionally they're a very strong green.

My wife and I blogged our reaction to the Season 4 Premiere, "The Beginning of the End." It wasn't the strongest kickoff, but I've still got hope for this abbreviated season.

Wasn't the eye that peered out of the cabin Locke's?

    Highlights from tonight's episode.
    1. Flash forward for Hurley, with slight nudge to Jack at the start.
    2. Hurley's Camaro is fixed and running.
    3. Jack is in this flash forward but this episode is before Jack's flash forward epsiode from last season (says he is going to grow a beard in this episode).
    4. Flash forward also features Ana Lucia's partner from the LA Police Dept.
    5. So who are the Oceanic Six? Hurley, Jack, Kate? That leaves 3 or 4 more.
    6. If Hurley went with Locke why is he off the island with Jack?
    7. Looks like Hurley found Jacob but who's eye was it that look backed at him.

The place where Hurley and Charlie are talking, that is the edge of our model rocket launch site next to Windward Community College. The tree in the scene ate it's share of model rockets.

According to Monday's Honolulu Star Bulletin the season 4 premiere episode airs on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 8pm (HST) on KITV.

Tonight's episode will be a repeat of the Season 3 finale at 8pm.

Since "Lost" has started filming again, a new thread to discuss "Lost - Season 4 News & Sightings" has been started. Take all discussion pertaining to filming, location spotting, etc. to this new thread.

We will reserve this thread for discussion of the storyline for Season 4. I expect this thread to die down for a while until the start of 2008 or close to it. The new "Lost" season on ABC starts in 2008.

Any local fans free tomorrow evening to meet with a visiting reporter from Russia (the Komsomolskaya Pravda) about the show? He's staying near Ala Moana, and wants to talk to local "LOST" fans. (The show is just heading into Season 3 there, and is -- of course -- a huge hit.) I've suggested somewhere at the shopping center at around 6 p.m.

I wish I could be there (talk about an unusual opportunity), but I'll be on the Big Island this weekend! If you're interested, send me an e-mail.

What Dharma orientation video? Is there a third one coming out (the first was for the Swan and the second was for the Pearl)?

Lots and lots of good stuff coming out of Comic Con in San Diego right now. Yesterday there was a Lindeloff and Cuse panel with some tantalizing tidbits (beginning with the aforementioned return of an original castmember). Seek them out if you're hungry for details... but if you're spoiler averse, watch out. Things are ramping up.

A couple of those actually look pretty good to an SF fan like me.

Or he can appear in the normal flow of time. Where I have no idea? On the island, on a boat or back on the mainland. It sort of depends how the writers setup Michael's view on the rest of the Oceanic 815 survivors. Does he try to run away or does he try to pick them off one by one?
