A couple of Montreal DJs dubbed "The Masked Avengers" fool Palin into thinking that she was actually talking to French President Nicolas Sarkozy for some seven minutes. Obviously, the "globe-trotting" VP nominee was blissfully unaware that Sarkozy is not fluent in English.

When you think about it, it's scary. If a couple of DJs can string along Palin with a silly impersonation of Sarkozy, can you imagine how naive she now looks to the rest of the world?

The neocons can spin this one all they want. But Palin is clearly not qualified to be vice president/president. Not now, not ever.

Palin and her staff recovered poorly from that prank. Instead of wrapping it up gracefully Sarah hands over the phone without a proper goodbye, then has her staff hang up with an annoyed tone.

At the moment they might have thought that was it. But they forgot there's something called the "internet" and things like this is like a boomerang pie: it keeps coming back to smack her in the face. :-)

Her buzz is incredible. She has car-wreck appeal. You're compelled to watch, hoping she'll say the dumbest things possible. I'd propose a show combining her love of fashion and lack of brainpower—'Project Dumbway.'

Good news, bad news. Sharon Osbourne would eat Sarah Palin for lunch. That's the good news. The bad news is that Todd Palin would want to go with Ozzie on an ATV ride, and remember that the last time Ozzie tried that he broke his collarbone. (That was at his place in England.)
And the Osbourne kids could take the Palin kids out and show them around Hollywood.
Heh.

Sarah is supposed to be on the Today show tomorrow morning, right? I'm gonna DVR that one.
