Forget about the fictional tale of President Obama's birth in Kenya. The real story is Obama's appearance in the Whoomp, There it is music video.

I think the ultimate stupidity is when people force themselves to believe something without an ounce of evidence, or because they like someone.

This article states the majority want Obama to reveal his records. So yes, I guess I can safely say "millions".

Here's an audio clip of the Kenyan Ambassador admitting Obama was born in Kenya- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH4GX3Otf14

Here's another Youtube audio clip of an interview with Obama's grandmother in Kenya through an Swahili interpreter saying Barack was born in Kenya- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlFc4wCpvSo

I guess they're among the "stupid" huh?

Yesterday, Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle, a Republican, signed a bill that allows state officials to ignore duplicative requests for copies of President Obama's birth certificate.

Hawaiian state law allows children born outside Hawaii get valid Hawaiian birth certificates (S. 338-17.8)
The following Hawaii state law (Hawaii Revised Statutes S. 338-17.8) allows children who are born outside Hawaii to obtain valid Hawaiian birth certificates, depending on the residency of their parents. This law isn't restricted to those born in the other 49 states; a child could be born in a foreign country and still get a valid HI birth certificate. This law was added in 1982, as confirmed by law librarians at the U. of Hawaii and L.A. County law libraries.

Note the fact that this applies to parents living in the "Territory" of Hawaii, an entity that was dissolved in 1959. If this law had been intended to only include children born in 1982 or later, would they have referred to the "Territory" of Hawaii? Clearly, this was intended to include those born before 1982 as well.

The source is HRS, and here's the text of that page:

[§338-17.8] Certificates for children born out of State. (a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.

    (b) Proof of legal residency shall be submitted to the director of health in any manner that the director shall deem appropriate. The director of health may also adopt any rules pursuant to chapter 91 that he or she may deem necessary or proper to prevent fraudulent applications for birth certificates and to require any further information or proof of events necessary for completion of a birth certificate.

    (c) The fee for each application for registration shall be established by rule adopted pursuant to chapter 91. [L 1982, c 182, §1]

Calling millions of people racist because they're unsure of the President's birth date is rather bold. The fault lies (not a pun) with the President's own administration.

But your issue is with myspace. Have you ALSO posted it there? You're more apt to get an appropriate answer at the site in question...and that's not HT.

For those of you wondering why it matters where he was born and/or raised, consider these articles that came out today. Where a person is born and raised is often tied to their loyalty and affection... even their political views.

Read if you have the courage-

FoxNews- "Obama Call for 'International Order' Raises Questions About U.S. Sovereignty"
    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010...=Google+Reader

Now this one's scary, but not surprising.

Obama’s Nominee to Run Medicare: ‘Please Don’t Put Your Faith in Market Forces’ - http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/66553

This guy says we aren't smart enough to choose our own health care or make decisions for ourselves! Who the hell does he think he is!!? He's a Socialist, and Obama hand-picked him, like many other like-minded Cabinet members!

Here, the Senate Democrats just passed a Bill authorizing the Feds free access to our ATM records- http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/66439
This is Fascism, folks! You have no right to privacy anymore!

Newt Gingrich- "Obama's Socialist Agenda Threatens US"
Despite how you may feel about the former House Majority Speaker, it's a formal statement which was never said on record about any U.S. President.

Whether Republican or Democrat, we need to look at our country's leaders for what they are, and who they're appointing to cabinet positions.

Here, you may want to read this news article link I posted some time ago. It addresses what you just mentioned. In short, Obama's official website makes reference to his MySpace site, which indicates the importance or legitimacy of it as a source to which we may worship him. Now the question is, which is more legit- MySpace or FaceBook?

It is well known that Obama is a tech user, carries a Blackberry, and strategically uses these internet services to spread his glory. It matters not whether he inputs the data himself. The fact is, when you're whole campaign is based on lies and deception, it comes back to bite you. So much for the transparency he promised.

This is a "birther" thread, so my question was correctly posted here, thank you.

there's that buzzing sound again..................it just doesn't seem to go away

My fancy electronic calculator tells me that if you subtract the year 1961 from the current year of 2010 - the resulting sum is 49. Actually, I could have done the calculation by hand but the gadget was sitting right here in front of me and I used it to verify my hand calculation. Just to be sure, kind of checking my facts before I post.
