Amazing...but not surprising. Hopefully the media will not give WBC even one second of time or one word in print. I wish hateful incidences like those conducted by WBC had, like HT, an ignore button!

I sincerely hope that those of you media folks who read HT will ban together with the media folks who don't and agree to ignore these losers. They absolutely thrive on any attention they get. Sure, this behavior is completely disrespectful to President-elect Obama, his family and the memory of his late Toot. But, to my way of thinking, it's even more disrespectful to give the losers what they desperately want...attention. The Secret Service will handle it.

I dunno. These are the same people who picketed Matthew Shepherd's funeral (he was a gay young man who was beaten to death) and who also occasionally picket the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq. I heard their rationale for picketing the funerals of soldiers is something about if their faith was strong enough, they would not have been harmed so their deaths prove that their Christian faith wasn't strong.
