    Re: Weiner Dog

Elliot Spitzer, gov of New York, a strong advocate of banking & securities regulation and on track to head the SEC--how differently things would have been handled regarding the oh so costly mortgage meltdown if he had been in charge! Nailed for hooking up with a hooker.

Its losing sight of the big objective, good efficient government, adequate protection of the public interest, and concentrating on the truly trivial aspects of personal private lifestyle. Why? Well its just such a good way of removing from power people who might prove inconvenient for the thieves who are trying to steal everything. Look, look, everybody! Don't pay attention to me, stealing your life savings, there is a nasty man over there (who is trying to police my thieving) who is doing something naughty with his wee wee, lets hound him out of office and replace him with a nice docile ineffectual turd who will let me continue stealing. And the public is fine with this. It gets so obvious, so repetitive, but the public eats it up every time.

Once again the spineless Dems couldn't manage to do the needed job to force the weenie man's hand, by granting his run'n'hide request for leave. Pathetic!

I like the way you put that, Ron. In all seriousness, though, you may be getting your wish — not from fellow politicians — but from Weiner’s porn star “twitterina.”

Reporting from New York—As Rep. Anthony Weiner remained in hiding and on leave from his job, a self-described dancer and former porn actress who was part of his sexting scandal emerged from seclusion Wednesday and said the congressman had pressed her to lie about his online activities.

Ginger Lee read a statement describing an electronically driven relationship that lasted from March 2011 until two weeks ago, when Weiner admitted sending sexually charged messages and graphic photographs to various women.

Hmm, lets see here...is she an adult? Why, yes, she appears to be over 18. Did she consent to, or participate in the alleged communications? Well apparently so. Once again it seems like Weiner is being hung out (so to speak) over things that happen thousands of times a day on the internets, if not millions. Oh and by the way while all this attention is being focused so massively and intently on this irrelevance, the masters of the system are preparing to steal your social security and medicare trust fund monies. Nothing to see here folks, just keep looking at the Weiner. You are getting very drowsy, just concentrate on the Weiner, just the Weiner, see only the Weiner...deep deep asleep deeper, deeper...

I saw those headlines, T, but ignored them earlier knowing there's plenty more to be known about the lyin' dog. How the Dems can let this go on and on is rediculous, I'm getting slee...py...

Should Sen. Vitter resign? He was/is a regular customer of DC prostitutes. Seems like that would open him to blackmail.

I hereby retract what I said earlier about Weiner being "okay" now that he had come clean. What is Gloria Allred looking at?

                        Good question.

This might sound silly, but she kinda reminds me of a certain puppet character on Mister Rodgers' Neighborhood.

And not just Gloria’s — “Ginger” (or should I say Candice Raines?) as well. The Daily Beast did an interesting piece on Ginger Lee’s motivations for going public. In fact, the New York Post reported that her strip club fee tripled the same day she and Allred held the press conference.

As a supporting cast member in the sexting controversy that felled now-former Congressman Anthony Weiner, former adult-film performer Ginger Lee found a level of fame that eluded her during her years toiling in the adult industry.

Lee is credited with performing in more than 50 porn films released between 2004 and 2010. Among her self-explanatory titles: Her First Lesbian Sex 14, T and A Buffet, and Barefoot Confidential 44.

Some Republican congressman from Idaho has been arrested for drunk driving and grand theft. I have just spent the past few minutes trying to find the story on the internets, not an exhaustive amount of time but still, the story is just not getting a pinch as much attention as the far, far less significant story of Weiner's tweets did. Which is a more significant indication of an ethical problem, sending tweets of oneself, or grand theft and drunk driving, yet which does the media chose to concentrate on, endlessly. Its so important to humiliate and discipline anyone who stands up for the American people. This Republican congressman might end up resigning, maybe he will even do some country club jail time if convicted, but he will never have his life torn apart for the singular purpose of humiliating and punishing him by the media for the crime of standing up for the American people. Let the destruction of Anthony Weiner serve as a solemn warning to anybody who'd dare speak truth to power. I am sure that eventually the Republican miscreant's story will get some circulation, just observe that it isn't being jumped on like the Weiner story was from the word go.
