    Would you believe Snowden as a spy? How about Chuck Berris?

      Three appeals courts are hearing lawsuits against the bulk phone records program, creating the potential for an eventual Supreme Court review, but judges are grappling with the admissibility in terror prosecutions of evidence gained through the NSA's warrantless surveillance. http://www.usnews.com/news/politics/...through-courts
      Meanwhile, at least Snowden has had his US girlfriend living with him for a while now.

        Whoah! And I thought I was a pessimist. We haven’t engaged in large-scale barter-and-trade in nearly a half-millenium. The U.S. dollar will fail. It’s too late to stop it, at this point — unless we can prove that the Russia-China alliance is somehow, not a threat to our financial health. But there is still hope. As long as profits don’t sink too low, the shale boom can and will make our country energy self-sufficient by 2030. Wars over energy throughout world history have only been trumped by wars over religion. But again, there is a big ‘if’ built in. As in if we can make it to 2015 before the next government shutdown!

        Wow, maybe Snowden is better off in Russia!

        We can’t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans.

          We're already the world's largest exporter of oil and have generally been forever, shale is just a scam and fracking will be the end of many land rights and whatever clean water is left. We're drowning in oil and still can't get enuf, nuts. The Keystone argument so many love is silly, all that oil is going to from Canada over the US wildlife preserves and off to China, with relatively few American jobs to be had along the way.

          • Commie Comey

            It never ends with these scum! http://news.yahoo.com/fbi-head-comey...201533169.html
            As found in the comments;
            Comey ALLEGEDLY added at the end of his remarks. "Any citizen who is suspected of attempting to encourage accountability and scrutiny by the public of government officials and regulatory agencies will be looked into deeply and the full measure of the federal government shall be brought to into action to stop treasonous questioning of government and any attempt to question its ultimate and supreme authority over individual citizens and any suspected activity by individuals that could be interpreted as disloyal. From here forward a hotline direct to the Department of Justice will be open and citizens are encouraged to report their suspicions about the neighbors and any conversations overheard that might indicate a propensity to seditious questioning of authority. Questioning of any government policy or action will be considered actionable by criminal prosecution. Any citizen who reveals government corruption will be prosecuted!" Commy appeared in civilian attire because his high black boots and government brown shirted uniform were not back from the tailor. Is this spoof where America is really heading??? Are these public servants so full of themselves and driven by their bloated ego’s and self importance that none dare expose government abuse and corruption. Are these sycophants to mediocrity groveling so greatly before their handlers and masters that they have lost their courage to defend the Constitution, its guaranteed rights and now wallow in the abyss of subservience to megalomaniacs?

            The topic is deals and we have made plenty with murderers and criminals like Calley, Oliver North, and Hayden (a real criminal) who ran the CIA domestic spying criminal conspiracy... how about Bush and Cheney with those weapons of Mass Destruction? And did we make a deal with General Petraeus who revealed national secrets for a roll in the sack but got no time or real punishment?
