I have none... yet.

I plan to get the Phoenix Rising on the small of my back. I plan to get a poem of mine on my rib cage toward my side. I plan to get paw prints in the sand tattooed on my neck (back/side). I've also been thinking about getting the phases of the moon down my spine.


My boyf just got his last name in Japanese Kana on his calf... it looks like somebody carved it into his leg... like a wound. Plenty more to come.

my suggestion on tattos would be to carry a picture of the tattoo you want around in a wallet/purse for a year or two. If you still like it as much as you did after that length of time... go for it. That's what I did with mine. Carried it for a year. Now it's on my arm.

I was 16 when I first wanted one...but I made myself wait until 21 no matter what so I would know I wanted it....Hmmm didn't want it then! Now I do but I am older and know what I want. Glad I waited

I carried a picture of my ex-girlfriend in my wallet for four years...I'm glad I didn't tatoo her name on my arm

I think if I ever get a tatoo, I'd like a barcode on my butt then I can tell anyone, "Go scan this ya stinkin bastard"

I knew a guy in washington... he was a unique person and chose to get a tattoo of the bar code of "Wonder" White Bread on his arm (his favorite bread...)

Everytime he went to the grocery store and bought bread... you could litterally scan his arm!

Depends...
But, for the most part, no. Tatts can be covered with specially formulated make-up and a skilled make-up artist. Needless to say, the larger the tatt the longer the time in the make-up chair. And, time equals money. I cast people with small tatts regularly. But, the local budgets don't allow time to cover very large tatts such as half a limb or more so I have to screen for those during the audition process.

I'm just bracing for the "Dad, I want a tattoo" speech.

Anyone here got one? Or are covered with them?

I got my first Tattoo with my personal 'avatar' and my first wife's name (expecting, at 21, we'd be together forever), now covered w/ my 2nd wife's 'avatar.'

My second was with the famous Lyle Tuttle - an improved, expanded avatar. Then I added more avataristic symbols with that one.

Both bicep tattoos, coverable when necessary.

Then I got an ankle tattoo, and my current (last?) wife went through the roof. She is too 'cultured' to accept tattoos, though she never said anything.

Our teen son promises to never smoke, drink or get tattoos (good for him!)....

I'd consider additional work, but would rather please my spouse.
