I was following a car on Kailua Road today and saw the license plate read ATM. I began to wonder if that was the owner’s initials or if the owner had a spouse and kids with their hand out and felt like an ATM.

Maybe that plate came from another vehicle such as those 80's Toyota Tercel Hatchbacks that looked like a rolling ATM machine

It was a few months ago, but since no one's mentioned it I guess I will.

A vegetarian woman in Colorado was denied her request for a vanity plate that proclaimed to the world, "I LOVE TOFU". Well, actually, she had to shorten it to fit on the plate, so what she ended up requesting was: "ILVTOFU".

Month ago I saw an SUV with 4MY HNY coming down the h-3/LikeLike feed into Kaneohe. The dark-colored SUV went from the far left lane, and swerved over (not across traffic) to the Kahekili exit loop, but just couldn't make it clean and clipped the divider barrier (plastic filled with sand) bricks.

It sustained some serious damage and a flat tire. I tried to catch up and warn the driver, but you KNOW Kahekili rush-hour traffic, so last I saw was a turn onto Kahuhipa (the street I love to hate), and figured he/she was headed for help.

Today I saw a new white SUV attached to the plate, and was relieved to assume that all worked out well.

Someone is lucky to have a honey like that.
