Oh, TTS, in Glen Ellyn, Il at College of DuPage L&M played a show similar
to other posts for really low prices (who didn't). I loved reading your post.
I went and like Styx, REO and others enjoyed music and still do so many

Since we're going down memory lane here... I took some classes at Pasadena City College in the early 70s, and at noontime on Tuesdays and Thursdays some of us used to sit around the reflecting pool playing our guitars. One of them was Kenny Loggins. (This was the same period when one of the local garage bands who used to play at parties was named Van Halen.)
Kenny wasn't very popular after he hit it big with Jim Messina. His ego was through the roof. He wouldn't even visit his parents home any more, and used to just send a limousine to pick them up and meet him in Hollywood for dinner. Hopefully he's matured since then.
There was another incident in the early 80s involving the fiance of a friend of mine that put Kenny permanently on my Sh*t List. He's a great musician, and I hope you folks enjoy the show, but Kenny as a person? Pfffbbbbttt.

Artists, musicians, writers, Presidents, common folk...
All have had difficulties understanding rules, their wives, etc...

But being a listener and enjoyer of a style/band/song negates all that,
because now it's how the song relates to you. Right?

Especially on this type of retrospective concert.
Ooohhh the memories.

Gonna have fun!
