KFC across from Ala Moana will be razed (to make room for a new two-story Walgreens). I think this KFC, which has been rebuilt and renovated over the years has been at that location since at least the mid 1970s.

It says in the second graf: Chaowasaree is opening a new restaurant in the Honolulu Pacifica Building in February 2013. So the headline is misleading - the restaurant is moving, not closing.

Well, Chai's Island Bistro is closing, and the new restaurant will be named "Chef Chai's at Pacifica", so... [/shrug]
