I know that the whole thing about Vonnegut giving that as a commencement speech at MIT is an urban legend, but how cool that would've been to present that at a graduation ceremony. I just love that final line: "But trust me on the sunscreen". Very cool.* I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. *
