Columbus, having just landed in the New World and claiming to have "discovered" the natives (who responded: "What you mean, you discover us? We discover YOU!"), asks if there's anywhere in the area where he can cash a check.

Native chief: "Sorry, banks closed today."
Columbus: "Oh yeah? Why's that?"

That may be true, but, if you post your own quotes, others may take it & use it for themselves w/o you knowing about it.

So,it's safer to use other people's quote, that way, it can't be stolen.
