You know there's a reason why there are bad people like sexual predators and people who leave soda cans for someone else to pick up (interesting comparison). Without them we'd have nobody to else to gauge what is good and bad.

Bad people make everyone else look good so the next time you come upon an evil person, thank them for making you look good. They'll never know what hit them.

I guess this one does not get me pissed, but close, more like extremely irritated. I was watching the news the other day and they showed a clip of the Anti-Rape Rally at UH. They showed this one girl that stated, that the University should have e-mailed every student to make them aware that there were some incidents of sexual assualts reported in the Manoa Area. To that, I ask the question, where was this individual during the past week(s)? I saw these reports in the papers, on the news, heard about it on the radio... This brings me to my peeve. What ever happened to being responsible for your own actions (or in some cases, inactions)? (in this case this individual choose not to attempt to keep herself informed by watching the news, reading the papers, listening to the radio that has some sort of news reporting). Why is it someone else's fault that you do not have common sense and makes bad judgements? I guess that is what our society has become, "Let's blame someone for our misfortunes and get rich off of it".

As for Soda Cans...I was talking about not only of one but the accumulation of soda cans. Another thing I get pist off about is anyone using the ice and refilling the ice tray. No, not Batu. Ice from the freezer made out of water.

Sexual Predators on children and 80 year olds....that pisses me off the most. That's sick, sick, sick!

Today, I'm pist cause I can't walk again. LIFE is still BEAUTIFUL! Have a nice day everyone.

Well if your legs can't do the walking around Chinatown...you can let your fingers do it right here on Hawaii Threads yeah!

Now getting on the UH attacks...there should be better security simply because the demands on UH students to study after hours at Hamilton or other places is somewhat of a requirement. I also feel that if you do have to walk the area at night alone, you should call for the already available security escort service. Really though you should plan on walking with a group of people.

Common sense dictates that darkened and desolate streets are no place for anyone no matter how safe it may seem.

But to have a cheerleading rally to get the message across seemed a bit out of place for something so dire. If you're gonna be symbolic, how about something we can relate to! That rally was a bit on the bizzare side...I mean to the casual observer passing by they're probably wondering what they're cheering about and why those gaudy black and pink cheerleading outfits!

All that effort in organizing and rallying support could have been better utilized by simply getting the message across the way they rallied for: by email.

Can you imagine this rally organizer being the next manager of a Fortune 500 company: Memo To All Staff...I need everyone to understand corporate policy on sexual harrassment so this afternoon I'm going to have a pep rally in Conference Room B, bring your cameras!

Actually that would kinda be more fun than a boring meeting of the corporate minds.

Aging & growing older...
sure that may be a part of life, but why can't we just age gracefully,painless, & still contiue to be abled body & to beable to have our legs to work?!.

I am also P.Off that 1stwahine can't walk!.

1stwahine, I hope that you are able to use a wheel chair if anything else, & atleast there are still alot of things you can still do with your hands. Or perhaps, use those motor scooters for disable people, that way, you can also still be able to get around youself.

Craig and Serenity, You are making my pain go away from laughing so hard. Serenity, you are a doll...I'm not even thinking about using a disabled wheelchair again, uhh yet. Been there, done that for two years. I'm using a walker in case I need some kind of assistance but presently I'm just using my hands and the walls. My home is full of non walking people today. MAMA, Mark (gout), Antonio (3 months old) and me (neuropathy). I'm still able to cook, clean and grumble. Best of all, I take a LONG break and sit at my computer for hours on end and talk story to the best ohana on the internet, hawaiithreads.com

Boy all this pissing off makes me wanna break out the violins

So what about good things in life (yeah I know...BORING) but what puts a smile on your face!

For me it's when THERE IS A COP WHEN YOU NEED ONE when some jerk blows past you in the right lane and runnng that red light up ahead. Yeah baby sooooo sweet when that cop pulls em over and you smile as you drive by. What sucks is when that cop doesn't do anything because he's on his way back for shift change at 11pm or 7am!

What sucks is when you get beaten up as a kid by the Bull of the school. What's sweet is when he finds out years later that you're his boss and you constantly remind him of your tormented teen years just to keep him paranoid. Yeah braddah kicked my ass then...kiss up to it now! Ooooh revenge is so sweet.

But I'm not like that (anymore) cuz I don't want my kids becoming revengeful. Life's too short to be pissed off everyday...okay maybe once a week
